Kensington Talmadge Community Association

The Kensington-Talmadge Community Association was organized in 1941 as a “Service and Fellowship Association for the Welfare and Happiness of the Kensington-Talmadge Communities.”

We are a not-for-profit group. Annual dues collected on a volunteer basis from our residents and local businesses support the operation and maintenance of the iconic Kensington sign that crosses Adams Avenue. Our association owns this sign. We pay for utilities, insurance, and maintenance.

We also own and maintain the flags displayed along Adams Avenue for all flag holidays.

Community programs we sponsor:
– Kensington Garden Angels
– Hoover High School Interact Program

Additionally, we publish a handy membership directory on an annual basis. We promote community interaction by hosting quarterly dinner programs that cover various topics of interest and entertainment.

Throughout the year, we are involved in various community activities.
